Ronnie Blake, the man whose foot Lindsay Lohan drove over as she left a party in pursuit of a former assistant is threatening to sue her. Blake was one of three partygoers who was inside an SUV when the intoxicated Lohan allegedly commandeered the vehicle to chase her former assistant, Tarin Grahame through the streets of Malibu, California.Blake managed to get out of the vehicle just before Lohan sped off, with his two pals, Dante Nigro and Jakon Sutter fearing for their lives inside. Blake’s foot was run over in his attempt to flee the vehicle. The three men have hired attorney Randall Billington to represent them as they consider legal action against Lohan. If the suit goes ahead, Blake will be seeking damages for his injuries, while Nigro and Sutter are considering pressing false imprisonment and stolen vehicle charges. Billington insists the trio should not be seen as opportunists looking to get rich quick from a celebrity. He says, “It was a surprise to them that the vehicle was taken without their permission. They were unable to remove themselves from the vehicle while it was traveling. They never expected to be in a car with Lohan.” After speeding the SUV through the streets of Malibu at a high rate of speed, Lohan allegedly went to Grahame’s home in Santa Monica, where she began a second chase with her former assistant’s mother, Michelle Peck. Peck called police to report that she was being chased and the authorities arrested Lohan in a parking lot a block away from a police station in Santa Monica.

Scarlett Johansson has laughed off claims she will play porn star Jenna Jameson in a Hollywood biopic. Jameson prompted reports recently when she said of Johansson’s performance in ‘Lost In Translation,’, “I remember thinking to myself, ‘this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy. I was like, ‘This girl could play me.’”"I love her. She’s amazing. She’s smart, she’s funny. She’s stunning. I don’t want someone who’s going to go in there and be like bouncing around. I want someone who can bring some depth.” But Johansson says she knows nothing of the film project, based on Jameson’s book “How to Make Love Like A Porn,” which is to be titled “Heartbreaker.” Johansson’s representative says, “Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project. She also has no interest in playing this role.”

Eddie Murphy has proposed to girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds and he gave her an enormous yellow diamond engagement ring. The ring was massive, but don’t expect a blowout wedding. Murphy’s first wedding to Nicole Mitchell in 1993 was a lavish $1.5 million affair, and is ranked by Forbes in the top ten most expensive celebrity weddings of all time. A friend said, “this time, it will be a private wedding. Something low key and very romantic.” Murphy is currently embroiled in a bitter battle with former girlfriend Melanie ‘Mel B’ Brown, with whom he has a child. He and Mel B split right before he met Edmonds.

Britney Spears apparently suffered another breakdown on the set of her new music video, with production grinding to a halt after she began “sobbing hysterically” during a pole dance routine.Spears was shooting the video for her new single ‘Give Me More’ in Los Angeles, but had been holding up filming with her unwillingness to co-operate with the crew while taking hour-long breaks in between production. Onlookers claim Spears appeared “disorientated” throughout the shoot, before becoming paranoid when she performed her sexy dance routine. A source claims, “Britney was completely uncooperative and left everyone hanging around when she went for an hour’s massage, twice.”"She was rude and she chain-smoked and drank an enormous amount of Red Bull throughout the shoot.”"She had a problem with the extras watching her pole dance and suddenly she was in floods of tears. It was sad to witness.”

The men who say they were unwilling passengers on Lindsay Lohans wild ride through Santa Monica have retained a lawyer who said he hopes to resolve the case without hauling her into court. Attorney Randall Billington said that he has been retained by Dante Nigro and Jakon Sutter, who say they pleaded with Lohan to stop as she raced along the Pacific Coast Highway at 100 mph. He is also representing Ronnie Blake, who says Lohan drove Nigro’s SUV over his foot as she raced off.”Some people think a discussion should begin with ‘I’ll see you in court.’ I don’t believe that,” said Billington, adding he hoped the situation could be resolved amicably. He also expressed concern for the well-being of Lohan, who was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and cocaine possession at the end of the ride.”From my clients’ point of view, they want to see a good outcome to that story for her,” he said. Shortly before the chase began, Nigro said, Lohan’s personal assistant got into an argument with her boyfriend and then Lohan. At that point, Nigro said, Lohan snatched his keys, which were still in the ignition of his SUV, jumped into the driver’s seat and gave chase. As the car accelerated, Blake said, he managed to jump out, but the vehicle ran over his foot. As Lohan raced after her assistant, Nigro and Sutter said, the car reached speeds of 100 mph. “So we start pleading with her, ‘Can you please stop the car,’” Sutter said.”I was honestly terrified,” Nigro added. “I really thought we were going to crash and I really thought we were going to get severely hurt or all of us were going to die.” After Lohan’s assistant got away, Nigro said, Lohan raced to the Santa Monica home of the former assistant’s mother. The mother, seeing a strange car arrive as she was returning home, fled in a Cadillac Escalade and called police.”At this point the Escalade’s flying, we’re flying, we’re probably going 80 miles per hour in residential Santa Monica,” Nigro said. The chase ended when the woman stopped near the Santa Monica police station and Lohan was arrested. As she spoke with police, Nigro said, Lohan tried to implicate Sutter.”We can hear her saying, ‘No, no, I wasn’t driving, the black kid was driving,’” he said.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are out of a job after their reality show ‘The Simple Life’ has been canceled.The two proved a huge hit trying their hand at manual labor on the program, which generated five series, but the E! network has dropped the show from next year’s line-up. Rumors of an imminent end began when Fox dropped the series in 2005 and Hilton and Richie became embroiled in a mystery feud, which they have since resolved. The E! network picked up the series for the final season. Hilton and Richies turbulent personal lives continued to complicate filming, culminating in Hilton’s imprisonment for a probation violation in June and reports Richie is expecting a baby as she too was sentenced to jail time for a DUI.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will officially divorce today. Spears’ lawyer, Laura Wasser, and Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went to court with the final papers to get a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge to sign-off on the settlement, making the divorce final. Wasser will make a motion to keep the custody and spousal support orders secret.Federline is reportedly receiving $15,000 a month from Spears for child support. He’s also reportedly getting $20,000 a month in spousal support, but that’s based on the prenup, and it appears the alimony payments will come to an end in November. As for custody arrangement for the couple’s two sons, it will stay at 50/50.Neither Spears nor Federline are happy with the custody arrangement, and either of them can go back to court and ask for a change. Federline won’t even speak to Spears, so they will probably be back in court asking the judge to make decisions about child rearing. There are reports that Federline may go to court soon to get full custody. Sources say he has signed-off on the 50/50 custody split. He may not be happy, but it doesn’t seem he’s ready for all-out war either.

Usher’s wedding was mysteriously canceled.Usher was reportedly marrying his pregnant fiancee Tameka Foster at record executive Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid’s home in Long Island, New York. “They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding,” said a source. “They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing.” Flowers, catering and even entertainment by Usher’s pal Robin Thicke was booked when Usher’s publicist announced the ceremony was canceled. Usher’s spokeswoman, Patti Webster, says,”It was announced that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.” Webster refused to comment on whether or not the couple had split. Usher announced his girlfriend was pregnant in January and the couple confirmed engagement reports in June. News of the wedding cancellation comes just days after tabloids reported Foster has a secret criminal past. Valencia Foster, Tomeka Foster’s half-sister claimed, “Tameka is giving Usher a big-time snow job.” Valencia claims Tomeka had a romance with a drug dealer, who was “executed” by a rival gang. The half-sister reveals she was sworn to secrecy when Usher went to Oakland, California to meet his future in-laws recently. She says Tomeka told her to keep quite about family secerts.

Dante Nigro, Jakon Sutter and Ronnie Blake claim they drove to Malibu with the boyfriend of Lindsay Lohan’s assistant. Lindsay and her assistant ran into Nigro and his friends and the assistant said Lindsay wanted to invite them to a Malibu party that night. Dante says that he and his friends drove to the party. Dante and the assistant’s boyfriend were let in, but Sutter and Blake were rejected and stayed outside. Dante says Lindsay was never without a drink during the evening and he even did a shot with her. At one point, Lindsay’s assistant and her boyfriend walked outside and got into an argument. Lindsay came out and got angry at her assistant. The assistant then said, “I quit,” which enraged Lindsay. Ronnie says Lindsay looked “very messed up” and “raging.” Dante and his friends were ready to leave. The GMC Denali they were in belonged to Dante, but he was sitting in the front passenger seat. “Ronnie and Jakon were in the back seat,” he said. The assistant’s boyfriend was behind the wheel. The keys were in the ignition when the assistant’s boyfriend got out and continued the argument with his girlfriend. She then got in her car and left. According to the group, Lindsay suddenly jumped in the driver’s seat of the Denali, and started driving away, chasing the assistant’s car. A new audio tape and other details from Lindsay Lohan’s car chase and arrest this week reveal a woman pleading for help and witnesses saying Lindsay believed she was immune from punishment. On the tape of a call to an emergency 911 line, the woman being chased by Lohan, who police said was the mother of her former personal assistant, describes what happened.”We were just about to park our car. We were coming home and out of nowhere this huge white GMC came up. The gentleman jumped out of the car, and oh my God, they are following us,” the woman told a 911 operator.She quickly became hysterical and her speech is difficult to hear over screaming in the background. At one point, she can be heard yelling: “Oh my God, what is he doing?” Lohan was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession, among other charges, after a high-speed chase through the Santa Monica area near Los Angeles. It was the second time in a month that Lohan has faced drunken-driving charges. Police arrested Lohan in a parking lot with two passengers in the back of the car that police said she was driving. The men who claimed to be inside with Lohan claimed that, during the chase, Lohan boasted she would not be arrested.”I can’t get into trouble. I’m a celebrity,” one of the passengers claimed Lohan said. He also said Lohan told police she was not driving and instead blamed “the black kid,” referring to one of the other three people in the vehicle. It was not clear whether they were friends of Lohan or if they were willing participants in the chase.

Before she left for Las Vegas, Britney Spears reportedly fired her new assistant, Shannon Funk, who was only hired by Spears earlier this month. Funk was reportedly fired just days after Spears’ disastrous photo shoot and interview with OK! magazine. Spears raised fears for her mental health when OK! editor-in-chief, Sarah Ivens, revealed the meeting with Spears had been “heartbreaking”. Reports later claimed the interview had ended with Spears storming off after three hours with more than $20,000 worth of designer clothes and jewelry, which had been borrowed for the photo shoot. Spears is allegedly blaming her recent negative publicity on Funk. A source says “Britney felt a lot of her recent troubles started and stopped with Shannon. Britney thought she was talking badly about her. She was very rude and Britney felt she was letting business emails fall by the wayside.” Funk replaced Spear’s cousin Alli Sims as her assistant after they fell out in June. They have since reconciled. Funk, who was hired and reportedly fired in the space of just a month, is now planning to sell her story. Funk claims Spears didn’t ask her to sign a confidentiality agreement and has been offered $500,000 to reveal intimate secrets and images of Spears. Funk claims she wasn’t fired and is in talks with a number of publications to tell all.
