Ian McKellen shocked theater-goers when he stripped completely naked midway through a new production of ‘King Lear.’He was performing in a preview of the William Shakespeare play in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. His stripping surprised many in the audience, who were given no advance nudity warning. A spokeswoman for the Royal Shakespeare Company says a meeting is being held to discuss whether to warn parents and school groups about the scene. McKellen’s agent adds, “It was a preview and the director is still making artistic decisions about the production. If the nudity remains, there will be a notice to warn the audience.”
Mary Weiland, wife of rock star Scott Weiland, claims her bipolar disorder is mostly to blame for the couple’s bloody fight at the Graciela Hotel in Burbank last weekend.She was also arrested on arson charges after she was spotted burning her husband’s wardrobe items outside the couple’s Toluca Lake, California home later in the evening. In a statement Weiland says, “The weekend’s difficulties were brought on by a reaction to an imbalance in medications used to treat my bipolar disorder. Scott was simply trying to help calm me down. I want to make it very clear that he did not hurt me in any way. For lack of a better expression, I was unstable and just lost it.” She says that the Graciela Hotel has been paid for damage to the room. She also states that their children did not witness “any of these events.” Mary adds that she has “a loving husband, drug-free for 3-1/2 years now, who is able to care for me during this challenging time.”
Bruce Willis was reportedly seen passionately kissing Courtney Love at his 52nd birthday celebration.Willis, who partied at Sunset Boulevard’s Roxy nightclub, in Los Angeles, was seen getting steamy with Love, the widow of Kurt Cobain. A source claimed: “They were full-on making out!” Courtney’s representative insists the kiss was nothing more than a friendly embrace. He said: “Courtney was just giving Bruce a quick hello and then they went their separate ways.” After the kiss, Bruce spent the rest of the evening partying with his friends. Last month, Willis slammed claims he was a client of Hollywood madame Jody “Babydol” Gibson. Gibson announced she was revealing the names of her famous clientele in her autobiography “Secrets of a Hollywood SuperMadam.” In the Willis chapter, Gibson claimed he ordered “five hot, young” prostitutes for a party. His attorney Marty Singer furiously dismissed the claims. He said: “The story is a complete fabrication. Bruce Willis doesn’t know this woman. He has never even spoken to her.”
